Analysis of the poem The Soldier by Rupert BrookeI am analyzing the poem The Soldier by Rupert Brooke. This poem isabout a man who loves his country dearly. The country is England. He believesthat if he should die in a far away scrap field that people should remember ofhim only that he was English. Brookes says in his forrader line, In that richearth a richer dust concealed. This means that if he is to die in a landother than England that the soil would be made better because there would nowbe a patch of England within it.The plot of this poem reinforces its meaning because it deals withdeath and love.
